Yen 是個熱愛廚房的設計師，專注於飲食設計、研究和書寫，並於 2021 年創辦了鼻子設計所 Snout Design Lab。
鼻子設計所 Snout Design Lab (SDL)，名字來自德文俗語 Berliner Schnauze（柏林鼻子），用來形容柏林口音和粗魯傲慢的柏林式幽默，也是 Yen 在柏林書寫心情的專頁名稱。一則笑話是這樣的，旅人詢問柏林人：「請問亞歷山大廣場在哪裡？」柏林人答道：「在跟昨天一樣的地方。」
鼻子核心為幽默、突破框架、且給予力量，有時直白得冒犯，卻又帶來溫暖。Yen 期許自己延續這樣的精神，用食物做實驗，走一條十年的路。
Yen is an integrated designer focusing on food and eating experience design. Stand by her philosophy that food is a powerful channel to perceive, utter and connect, she initiates projects in forms of workshops, research, visual design, photography, and writing. In 2021, she founded Snout Design Lab (SDL).

食物是我和世界連結的方式。它把各地人們的故事帶到我眼前，跟隨他們料理的手法，我一步步地，將他們的生命，轉化為我的生命。
Food links me to the outside world. It visualises those stories of people who prepare, cook and eat. Following their steps of food, I transfer their minds into mine.
